1. 1. Museo Nazionale del Bargello

   Welcome to the Bargello! 🏛️ It houses some of Michelangelo's earliest sculptures. Prepare to be wowed by his raw talent and youthful energy. Here you can see his *Bacchus* and *David-Apollo*.

2. 2. Piazza Santa Croce

   We're in Piazza Santa Croce! 🕊️ Michelangelo isn't directly represented by sculpture *in* the piazza. However, he is honored *within* the Basilica di Santa Croce. It's the final resting place of Michelangelo himself!

3. 3. Palazzo Vecchio

   Behold, Palazzo Vecchio! 🦁 While Michelangelo's *David* originally stood here, it's now in the Accademia. However, a replica stands guard outside the Palazzo's entrance. Imagine Michelangelo himself overseeing the city from this very spot.

4. 4. Casa Buonarroti

   Step into Casa Buonarroti! 🏠 This is Michelangelo's family home, now a museum. It houses a collection of his early drawings and models. Get a glimpse into the mind of a young Michelangelo.

5. 5. Gallery of the Academy (Galleria dell'Accademia)

   Prepare to be awestruck at the Accademia! 🤩 This is where you'll find Michelangelo's *David* in all its glory. Also home to his unfinished sculptures, the *Prisoners*. A true testament to his genius.

6. 6. Medici Chapels

   Welcome to the Medici Chapels! 💎 Michelangelo poured his heart and soul into the New Sacristy here. It holds the tombs of the Medici family. Admire his sculptures of *Day* and *Night*, *Dawn* and *Dusk*.

7. 7. San Lorenzo

   Our final stop: San Lorenzo! 🙏 Michelangelo designed the facade of this church, though it was never built. However, he did design the Laurentian Library. Explore the library's unique architecture and feel Michelangelo's influence.
